This project will help you to understand and put into practice the basic methods of HANDPIECING and will show you how to achieve accuracy each and every time. No more mismatched corners, no ripping out seams and starting over! Nothing empowers an aspiring quiltmaker more than the knowledge that they will achieve accuracy every time they piece a block.

You will be making a hotpad. This will entail all the basic steps in quiltmaking and these skills will be applicable to any project you choose to do next. This project will prepare you for the monthly projects I will be posting and will also prepare you for the multistep "Learn to Quilt" project - Momma's Bloomers which I will publish in a series seperate from the ongoing projects.
